BACKGROUND
The Eden Community Centers provides its community with the highest quality of educational, health, wellness, recreational, and social programs, which are guided by Islamic values and culture for people of all ages.
CHALLENGE
We started everything off by digging into the details of the project by conducting stakeholder interviews. One of our friends, Br. Mansoor Khan was very helpful and cooperative in providing promt responses. During these interviews, we walked through our discovery workbook and unpacked the goals of the project, perceptions they hoped to reshape, what the competitive landscape looked like, and aesthetics they were drawn to. Through our strategically crafted questions, we were able to uncover valuable information about what drives Eden Community Center in order to portray their mission, vision and vlaues in this new website. Integration of the Donation and Event Management was the key component.
SOLUTION
Eden Community Centers' website is built using a component-based design. A component is a panel of information that is displayed in a custom format that can be applied to different pages throughout a site, allowing for content and imagery to easily be switched out. The Eden Community Centers' logo is unique and it was a custom design. All of the branding colors from the logo are used throughout the site in the navigation, in headers, and throughout various components. There is an events calnedar system also that displays a grid and list view of upcoming programs and happenings at the ECC. An integration of Donation with Mohid was made as well.
RESULT
Alhamdollilah! The end result was everything they hoped for and more. Through diligent planning and lots of hard work, we were able to completely transform their online presence. Eden-CC now has a website that is professional, informative, and creatively tells the story of the community center's plans and vision. The new site is contemporary yet embedded with Islamic components and design elements and simple while also communicating to visitors and clients, their cutting edge approach.
